“Work and play are words used to describe the same thing under differing conditions.”

Mark Twain

Last week in our Q&A session and in our discussion of community we weren’t working. It didn’t feel like classwork. We were enthusiastic and energized the same way we are when we are playing with friends. We lose track of time and are fully engaged in the task at hand. Let’s make these #globalchats feel more like play than like work.

Global Studies: Unit 5 Tojo to Mojo: Globalchats

  • Choose a post WWII topic in Japan for the class to discuss
  • Identify key vocabulary the class should know before walking into your discussion
  • Prepare questions to facilitate a 45 minute discussion
  • Record the discussion and upload it on Spot as a podcast with a description and analysis of how it went
  • #globalchats #tojotomojo
