Nobel Awards Ceremony – TGS Style

December 10, 2015

Tonight the students and staff of THINK Global School will be re-creating the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony. The TGS Nobel Ceremony will emulate the actual one happening only a few blocks away in Stockholm, Sweden. Students will enter and receive a non-alcoholic welcome drink, dance the traditional dance, and dine on an exact replica of the 1984 Nobel menu.

Students have worked diligently to research the Nobel Prize categories, emulate Nobel Literature Laureates, and select a “most important” laureate in each category. Students were excited and inspired by learning about past winners and the awards themselves. Students and staff also submitted creative writing pieces to compete for the first ever TGS Literary Laureate Award. The winners will be announced tonight during the dinner.

To celebrate this monumental day, I wanted to provide some quotes from past laureates that the students included in their essays.
